职位描述
1. In charge of the overall daily operations of Operations Unit, including full responsibility for profit and loss of the unit.
2. Monitor operating results against objectives and direct measures to correct unsatisfactory conditions.
3. Responsible for the coordination of all warehousing and distribution functions, including inventory, physical distribution, maintenance, record-keeping, traffic scheduling, etc.
4. Responsible for the optimum use of storage space and store layout in the warehouse and for customers’ stock inventory records to be kept accurate and up-to-date.
5. Develop and maintain a high standard of customer service and satisfaction. Attends to customers’ enquiries and adopt a proactive approach to minimize complaints.
6. Responsible for staff discipline to upkeep YCH service level and corporate image.
7. Provide monthly management reports on overall performance against agreed objectives in the areas of warehouse utilisation, stock movements of customers and other matters relating to warehousing and distribution.
8. Liaise closely with other departments, especially Business Development / Marketing Dept., IT Dept. and Forwarding Dept. to meet customers’ needs and requirements.
9. To undertake any special assignments by YCH management.
10. Ensure Quality system is maintained and improved.
11. Explore business opportunities with existing customers and their suppliers/clients for further development by sales and marketing staff.
12. Establish good servicing arrangement with vendors and suppliers and monitor their performance.
13. Performs other job related functions as and when required.
