Role Summary/Purpose
As an entry level Accountant you will be responsible for performing basic journal entries with oversight and review from more senior accountants. You will follow an individual work plan and meet day-to-day short term objectives.
Essential Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of payroll & tax process (defined region), 100% align both local and global compliance
- Execute the transition from Asia countries
- Closely work with vendor to administer pension movement and audit
- Partner with Asia country HR managers, C&B leaders on benefits operation
- Drive vendor delivery per SLA and manage vendor performance through centralization & simplification
- Review as-is process, identify & lead improvement plan by implementing lean methodology, drive operation excellence
- Take lead on local implementation of global projects to drive adherence to payroll enterprise standards
- Work with payroll leader to drive hub penetration
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor degree or an equivalent experience;
- Fluent in Korean and English, Mandarin;
- Independent worker with strong execution;
- Good change management, apt to work under pressure
- Passion on learning, clear thinker
- Demonstrate initiative and attention to detail
- Skillful in MS Office, e.g. Excel, PPT;
