Wuqing Supply Chain Manager-for a small size Global Manufacturing Co.

Our client is an European manufacturing company focusing on furniture business, it has 30-50 employees in Wuqing Development Area, Tianjin. Now the company is looking for a Supply Chain Manager role who can take lead of the whole supply chain management including global sourcing, import& export, warehouse management, etc.

Working location: Wuqing Development Area, Tianjin (no shuffle bus)

Responsibilities:
? Manage the supply and value chain in the company
? Organize and manage the processes from sourcing, supplier relationship, purchase of materials, incoming quality control, warehouse, storage and distribution of finished goods
? Recommend and find optimal suppliers, transportation modes, routing, equipment, to realize lowest cost with fastest transit time
? Build and develop the organization and team required
? Teach and implement lean methods and 5S
? Import & Export
? Responsibility for the whole value chain: from suppliers to receiver of finished products. Processes before and after production are the responsibility of the SCM manager.
? Sourcing and Purchasing – on time raw materials purchase, new supplier development
? Incoming QC and securing incoming defect ratio reached
? Warehouse, BOMs, cost, release of material
? Export/Import
? Delivery and distribution of finished products
? Implementation of ERP and warehouse management system will be essential in 1 to 2 years’ time
? That lean methods are used. 5S first and foremost

Key Focus/KPIs
? Sourcing and Purchasing
? No production should be delayed due raw materials
? 5 Defect per Thousand (DPT) or better on incoming material
? Warehouse
? Export/Import
? Ensure goods are safely and efficiently transported
? Cost-effective
? Delivery of finished cargo
? Fastest transport time with lowest cost
? All finished cargo be shipped out within 2 weeks

Qualification:
? Good command of English
? Driving and thriving in a fast paced environment - strong direction, speed in decisions and adaptability
? Determination and perseverance to achieve results – while energizing the organization
? Strong at driving performance management - Structured Management Experience
? Experience in Supply Chain Management
? Experience with warehouse set-up and management
? Experience with ERP systems. Integrated production system with warehouse-, purchase- and production modules
? Interest and understanding of lean principles. First of all 5S
? Speaking Mandarin, and experience in international corporations, are both plusses but not necessities
