Marketing Manager
GMS Group – 5 Star Hotel Industry – Customer Loyalty Services Provider
Suit 5 Star Hotel industry experienced Marcom Manager, or Digital and Administrative marketing mid level Manager
POSITION OVERVIEW
Based in Shanghai
This position reports directly to the Regional Vice President of Sales & Marketing and Group Marketing Director. The candidate is to develop, implement, and lead strategic and tactical marketing strategies to further advance existing national 5 star products, and establish new sales channels. Candidate must also have marketing administrative and analytical skills to evaluate and optimize performance for Company’s key account, in addition to developing revenue focused marketing strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Development of SME and Corporate relationships leading to marketing partnerships and bulk sales acquisitions.
? Develop and maintain excellent sales & marketing relationships with internal company staff, external hotel clients and 3rd party marketing partners
? Work with the RVP for ongoing development, execution, and management of the product marketing strategy
? Work with the RVP for ongoing development, execution, and management of various existing and new channel sales strategies
? Develop marketing campaign strategies and activity plans that use channels effectively and that will achieve campaign objectives including generating qualified member acquisition leads
? Develop CRM strategies for each campaign and coordinate CRM activity including member lifecycle communication emails, list purchasing, data pulls and lead management
? Manage the standard and ad-hoc preferred customer communications strategy
? Manage the implementation, tracking and measurement of marketing campaigns, on time and within budget
? Manage and maintain use of clients’ databases according to their company policy and contact strategy
? Manage marketing, branding/ merchandising collaterals production process from concept to completion
? Write and edit copy for a range of promotional printed materials including brochures, online tools, etc.
? Translate English documents into clear, concise Chinese copy
? Conduct training and assist clients with their day to day marketing enquiries
? Executive Assistant duties to RVP – including but not limited to bilingual translation, assistance with macro management of operations from a development perspective, marketing and sales strategy development training to field staff, and other general EA works as required.
KEY COMPETENCIES
? Fluent English skill Essential – written & spoken
? A degree or equivalent level qualification in marketing, business, communications
? Suit candidates with 5 star Hotel background in Marcom, or Digital & Administrative mid level Manager from luxury product marketing industry
? Advertising, digital and CRM marketing knowledge and experience an advantage
? Social media marketing experience an advantage
? Minimum 5 years in a similar marketing role, or marketing supervisory level looking to step up to Management level
? Solid business and analytical marketing skill and ability to manage through projects from concept to completion
? Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills
? Customer-focused, with the ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers and build effective relationships
? Ability to travel within China as position requires approx. 20% of travel
