Role Summary/Purpose
The GGO China Go-To-Market IT PM role is to use creative, innovative and emerging technologies to support GGO China initiatives with focus on external marketing and commercial activities. This individual will work closely with GGO China PR & Communication leaders as well as partner with BU IT leaders and functional teams (Communication, Commercial, Marketing etc.) to identify, recommend, develop and implement digital solutions. Set up China Corp./GGO go-to-market IT framework and road map.
Essential Responsibilities
• Build partnerships, support and connect with GGO China Marketing & PR business leader and functional teams to create the long and short term information system plans that supports business growth
• Identify high impact business needs and partner with business to further facilitate GGO/Corp shared service- solve common pain points/challenges across China business and drive cost down across GE China with a scaled approach. Drive and establish shared service with focus on but not limited to web, social solutions, cloud solutions and mobility technologies.
• Developing and driving the overall GE China mobile solution architecture and technology vision, and development roadmap.
• Partner with business marketing and communication team on providing multi-channel campaign management, social engagement and web presence management consultancies & solutions.
• Partner with GE China marketing and commercial leadership team develop IT framework/solutions for market & competitor intelligence analysis across the company
• Explore new media and emerging technologies, share new ideas and trends within global and regional IT team. Promote new technologies to enable sales growth with increased efficiency and reduced cost / timeline
• Drive revenue marketing awareness & platform execution in the region as subject matter experts.
• Leverage existing solutions and global GE designs to drive standardization & simplification to reduce implementation timelines and costs
• Act as subject matter expert, partnering with multiple business clients and stakeholders to evaluate and improve business processes and determine technology solutions
• Create a consistent communication rhythm on organization, program status, operation as well as performance & availability metrics with functional partner and within IT team
• Be a change leader for integrating current and emerging information technologies into sustainable business solutions
• Develop peer, cross-functional and cross-business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or other technical / IT field, OR a minimum 4 years of relevant IT work experience Minimum 2 years of experience delivering large-scale, enterprise-wide web applications
• Minimum 2 years of understanding web development technologies
• Minimum 1 year of practice on Cloud platform
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills
• Analytic, creative and business-focused problem solver
• Ability to learn complex systems, processes and to define requirements for solutions
• Good software product development, engineering and architecture experience.
• Strong problem solving skills, communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve
