Global Operations Finance, the GE China Corporate Finance CoE team, with a scale of more than 500 people, was established in May 2012. Aiming to bring together a team of excellence worldwide. GOF builds and executes world-class processes across the company ( including source to pay, fixed assets, record-to-report, invoice-to-cash, customs, payroll, T&L, stat-to-tax) to better serve GE business operations in and beyond China.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead R2R simplification initiative including MJE reduction, MJE workflow roll out and enforcement, monthly closing simplification, closing checklist and DR4 reporting standardization
- Assist Operation leader to setup operation rhythm within R2R team, further streamline the metric collection and automation
- Liaison with Global Process Leader for Global R2R initiatives, including ARM, CCL ESCOA upgrade etc.
- Support Operation leader for R2R Asia migration project to coordinate transition and quality control
- Be liaison between IT, PMO and R2R in terms of any system related projects and ERP upgrade. Support the R2R Accounting team during each BU's ES ERP implementation journey. Leveraging system solution to simply operation and process, identify and execute simplification opportunities
- Support Asia CCL and CCL+ implementation from operation side including COA mapping, solution identification, UAT and cut over coordination.
- Assist Operation leader to initiate and execute any process simplification projects.
- Provide appropriate Coaching and Mentoring for team members and helping develop a career path.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 4 years plus working experience, share service experience is a plus
- Solid finance operation knowledge and ERP implementation experience is a plus
- Customer-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effectively bilingual (Chinese & English).
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- Proven ability to interact with Senior Leadership.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- FMP / CAS Experience a plus.
