Global Operations Finance, the GE China Corporate Finance CoE team, with a scale of more than 500 people, was established in May 2012. Aiming to bring together a team of excellence worldwide. GOF builds and executes world-class processes across the company ( including source to pay, fixed assets, record-to-report, invoice-to-cash, customs, payroll, T&L, stat-to-tax) to better serve GE business operations in and beyond China.
Role Summary/Purpose
As the Customs Analyst you will be on the operational team and responsible for import/export and logistics coordination. Act as a customs broker. Process inventory, brokerage, and freight invoices for payment.
Essential Responsibilities
• Prepare document for Customs declaration
• Customs system EZTMS entry and data maintenance accordingly
• Coordinate between broker and biz to accelerate declaration progress
• Customs Duty application and proceed with the payment
• Keep the document to comply with Customs regulation and GE policy as well
• Audit broker agent fee and proceed with the payment
• Apply the import and export license where needed in operation
• Prepare weekly and monthly operation metrics for global report and local biz review purpose
• Assistant and advise project teams in support of their import and export operations and in solving import and export regulatory issues
• Support CoE initiations to establish compliant yet simple operations model for concerned shipments

Qualifications/Requirements
• Good Bachelor's degrees in economics or business
• Preferably with more than 4 years of relevant working experience in Customs/trade compliance-related operations or consultancy
• Preferably with more than 1year of relevant working experience on processing trade, bonded management
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, writing, interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-starter, creative, exhibits ownership, initiative, clear thinker and able to work as a team
• Proactive with strong leadership, growth potential, be willing to stretch and results oriented.
• Ability to work in an autonomous environment
• Excellent on Microsoft PC application
• Good Mandarin and English communication skills
• Working experience in other MNC is better
