1、Work with SBC MH to develop the best R&D operation team in Shen Zhen China. Ensure Shen Zhen China engineering team is challenged with full workload and help to balance workloads as needed. Send out weekly report on engineering status.
2、Teach and hire good people with English skill, Pro/E capability have working in biking and composites technology experience to work with SBC in between Morgan Hill, Taiwan and China.
3、Assist SBC SZ Vice President to manage the engineering team with the corporate mission and objective in China. Manage yearly reviews for engineering team in China.
4、Closely coordinate with engineering manager for Taiwan to make sure all objectives are met. Sometimes Taiwan engineer needs to help China engineer and sometimes China engineer needs to help Taiwan engineer. We need smooth & seamless function between both Taiwan and China teams.
5、Working with SBC MH team to manage metal parts development, quality and delivery issues in China. This position is responsible for meeting metal parts needs of SBC MH team and needs to work closely with SBC MH team.
6、Manage SBC SZ team to control the Engineer team budget in Shen Zhen.
7、Help SBC SZ Vice President with preliminary research of potentially new source of supply for carbon maker, and component product specifying benefit for pricing, good manufacture process and delivery.
8、Take responsibility for managing CNC machining and prototype parts for good quality, pricing negotiation and delivery.
9、Assist SBC MH team working on development, quality issue discussion at China vender. Travel with SBC MH team to various Chinese suppliers when SBC MH engineers visit China.
10、Be responsible for some engineering projects as assigned.
