Job Description - Campus Security Director (Zhuhai, China)

The Campus Security Director (CSD) reports directly to the Loss Prevention Sr. Director, Corporate Security Services (CSS) with a dotted line to the Vice President, Zhuhai Operations. The CSD is responsible for the development and execution of Loss Prevention and Physical Security programs at all company facilities in the greater Zhuhai area in compliance with global and campus policies, local laws and customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

? Function as the Loss Prevention, Intellectual Property protection and Physical Security Subject Matter Expert for all business unit and segment operations associated with Zhuhai Campus

? Directly manage all areas of the Loss Prevention and Physical Security programs to include; in-house Security teams; security-related systems, equipment, processes and expenditures

? Manage contract security operations and vendor relationships

? Develop and submit to Sr. Director Loss Prevention and VP Operations (Zhuhai), security related annual budget and capital expenditure requests

? Support supply chain and in-transit security programs

? Maintain positive and appropriate relationships with customers, and liaison with law enforcement, government regulatory agencies and other security related resources

? As directed by CSS Regional Investigations Director, lead and/or participate in investigating criminal activity, loss issues and ethical/conduct violations; company policy or regulation and other matters as assigned

? Ensure all applicable loss and compliance issues are documented in the appropriate Corporate systems

? Conduct loss prevention and physical security related audits and assessments

? Act as Flextronics lead for all customer security-related audits and assessments

? Identify and implement cost-effective, best practice Loss Prevention and Physical Security processes

? Identify and eliminate non-value add processes and expenditures associated with Loss Prevention and Physical Security

The CSD must demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism, personal conduct, ethical behavior and confidential information protection. The CSD will demonstrate strong critical and independent thought, leadership abilities, and investigative expertise in conducting internal and external confidential investigations. Additionally, the CSD must have expertise in the principles of loss prevention to include access control, CCTV, alarm systems, supply chains and protection of personnel, assets and intellectual property protection. Finally, the CSD needs to be a consensus builder in a dynamic and complex environment.

Job Requirements *

? Extensive experience living and working in mainland China

? 4-year degree in business, criminal justice or a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and related work experience

? Bilingual in Mandarin and English (excellent spoken and written skill levels)

? Minimum 5-years of relevant experience within a large organization, preferably within the EMS/OEM manufacturing or logistics environment

? Team builder with ability to gain consensus from diverse groups and translate vision into action

? Investigative experience with emphasis on fraud and theft

? Thorough understanding of security staffing operations, security systems and the loss prevention and physical security principles specific to the hi-tech and general manufacturing industries and Flextronics' customer base

? Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate investigative and audit findings to all levels of management

? Ability to develop and market cost effective, value-add corrective actions and recommendations in support of findings

? Highly effective at developing internal and external alliances and liaisons with law enforcement, regulatory agency representatives and customer/industry peers

? Must be a self-starter and able to work autonomously with little supervision

? Must be computer literate with strong end user skills and proficiency in the MS Office suite

? Current certification as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Protection Professional (CPP) is a plus
