Purpose of Position

Suppliers’ Audit:

1.Implementation of raw material suppliers’ annual periodic audit and making sure all of action plans implemented on-time and effectively.

2.Make sure any key process characteristic implemented within suppliers’ processes properly.

3.Participate in suppliers’ performance review from quality, productivity, cost, logistics perspective etc.

4.Handle suppliers’ change management.

5.Support internal Giti plants audit and confirm all of questions related to raw material during the audit.

6.Participate in raw material suppliers’ performance activity and comment from QAC’s perspective, making action plans with related suppliers based on ranking risk assessment result.

Quality issue handling:

1.Responsible for handling all of suppliers’ quality issues.

2.Working with R&D team and plants to identify severity and categories of all of quality issues, make sure all of quality issues resolved properly.

3.Working with purchasing team to evaluate suppliers’ deliveries proportion based on suppliers’ quality performance.

4.Specify and institutionalize the reporting format for suppliers, coach suppliers to comply with Giti’s reporting and problem solving requirements.

Potential supplier-development.

1.Working with R&D and PUR team to evaluate all of potential suppliers accordingly per required, ensure all of nonconformities could be addressed and identified effectively.

2.Responsible for having qualified and robust suppliers based on the objective audit activity.

3.Act as an important role in supplier-development process, working internally and externally to ensure all of related activities done appropriately.

Job Responsibility

Instruct raw material suppliers to fully prepare periodic audit and make sure any audit objective and reasonable on-time.

Work with PUR Department and support “supplier performance” evaluation from QAC perspective.

Instruct suppliers how to handle and analyze quality issues. Follow up all of action plans and make sure any action implemented effectively and on-time.

Being cooperative and supportive working positively and aggressively within the team with R&D and PUR Dep for potential suppliers’ selection.

Job Requirements

1. At least three years of experience in supplier quality function in related commodity (raw material or chemical).

2. At least 5 years quality experience with strong experience and knowledge in auto industry especially material manufacturing process and quality assurance, recommended 2 years working experience in joint-venture or foreign company.

3. Be good at related office software (MS word, excel, power point)

4. Proficient in problem solving method and tools such as 5 “whys”, 8D,Pareto, scatter plot, histogram, Fishbone etc.

5.Statistics skills for process control and management.

6.Understanding of project management

7.Experienced at Quality Tools（SPC, FMEA, APQP,PPAP,MSA)

8.Familiar with TS16949 , familiar with VDA 6.3/6.5(process/product) system, “Formel Q” , better having basic understanding about QSB/Q1.

9.Self-discipline, easy-going, upright-personality, ability to work within cross-functional & global team.

10.Passion for excellence with high integrity, commitment to quality.

11.Fluent in oral and written English and Mandarin, willing to take frequent travel and work with suppliers.
