Job Description
Title: Area manager – North China
Reports to: General Manager - Asia
Based at: Interstil North China – Home Office
Job purpose:
A sourcing manager is to be responsible for the procurement of commodities through the development and implementation of commodity strategies plans and the management of supplier relationship, as well as the team building.
Main responsibilities are as follows:
The responsibilities include price negotiation, planning, production, inventory control, quality control and factory control, as well as team building and training.
1. Responsible for procurement guideline, strategies, stipulations, procurement procedures as well as measurement and ensuring implementation
2. Formulate annual procurement plan, implement in a precaution/ process-control manner, effectively decrease procurement cost
3. Select suppliers with reasonable prices, reliable quality products and good reputation and build long-term relationships with them
4. Establish integrated evaluation system on suppliers’ credit standing, contract performance, after-sales service capacity and price conditions
5. Monitor macro trends in supplier and contract base, and implement plans to react
6. Formulate management procedures and measures of suppliers, improve the management and performance evaluation and ensure quality
7. Responsible for planning, developing and purchasing in a timely and cost-effective way
8. Lead the procurement in all phases
Qualifications/Requirements
9. -Bachelor degree or above;
10. - Education background of furniture, manufacturing, Industrial, Material Management
11. 10+ years related working experience, which includes experience in strategic sourcing or procurement with at least 5 years in supervisory experience
12. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to develop outsourcing strategies
13. Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
14. Able to travel
15. Fluent in English, multi-cultural experience is desired.

Working location will be in North of China with home office. We now have sourcer in Harbin and Qingdao.
