General Manager for a commercial company

Main responsibility

General Management, including monitoring and continuously improving all areas of the operation in Qingdao
To manage and coordinate financial matters, including P&L, capex, taxes, etc. and general profitability of the company
Interface with the headquarters in Germany
Management and development of the customer base in the relevant markets (Greater China, South Korea)
Manage the sales force and active support of sales force at customers'
Direct customer responsibility

Tasks

Preparation of monthly and annual management/financial reports including budgets.
Sales planning and sales controlling
Market research
Review performance and remuneration of staff
Realization of corporate strategy
Maintain a close relationship with relevant department in other Chinese subsidiary.
Represent the company towards authorities and state departments in China

Professional requirements

Bachelor degree or higher, must in mechanical or industrial engineering ideally in combination with business management
Technical background is a must, ideally in mechanical and industry engineering?
A minimum of 7-10 years successful sales including some years in sales management
Experience with similar products would be a plus
Market and sector knowledge
Very good communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese
Good computer skills in MS Office

Hard working and diligent person, able to perform under pressure
Ability to motivate and lead staff
At least 3 years of work experience in international environment ( including frequent travelling to Europe )
