RESPONSIBILITIES
? Supply dual language content for our website: articles, upcoming events, etc.
? Support corporate photo library by uploading and tagging school photos on timely basis
? Manage monthly school newsletter: collect articles from students and staff, translate as needed, work with designer on layout, arrange printing and delivery
? Translation of teacher and other marketing-related articles: English to Chinese, Chinese to English
? Monitor school mentions in local media and post on website and in school
? Assist with event planning and execution
Assist Admissions with leads conversion including but not limited to:
Input active leads into the internal database from events
Initiate contact with new leads
Schedule school tour and assessment tests
Work with parents to ensure all required materials are gathered
? Updating leads’ statuses
? Assist smooth transition from “converted” to actual student status by working with Tutor and parents in first month of school attendance
? Assists with various Marketing and community events:
？ Contacts existing leads to invite them to the event
？ Represents the school at the event (in addition to Marketing team colleagues)
？ After the event, records attendance in our international database and contacts event attendees to thank them for their attendance, pass on additional information, etc.
? Attend PSG (Parent Support Group) meetings
? Maintain contact with existing students by acting as a Chinese tutor to a small group of students, liaising between the school and parents

KEY DELIVERABLES
? Timely completion of web site & social media content; mass internal communications like monthly newsletter
? Photos submitted promptly and correctly to online photo library
? Fulfills event-related tasks as assigned
? Meet prospect-to-student conversion targets set based on historical data
? Maintain accurate and timely updates on each lead in assigned leads

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The Marketing Assistant is line-managed by the Marketing & Admissions Manager and works closely with the school-based Marketing and Admissions team with frequent communication with the Shanghai-based Headquarters team. He or she:
? Receives in-house training
? Participates in annual staff professional reviews and target-setting relating to renewal of post
? Has opportunity to extend role to take on additional Marketing-related responsibilities

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
A successful candidate:
? Has the right combination of communication and interpersonal skills necessary for working effectively and positively with parents, students, administrators, staff, and management
? Has strong writing and presentation skills
? Is comfortable with MS Office and social media (weibo, weixin) in addition to other web-based tools
? Is fluent in Chinese and English
? Has a strong track record of interacting positively with colleagues, even under pressure
? Has the ability to analyse situations, reach sound conclusions and resolve issues effectively
? Has an understanding of and experience in using information and communication technology
? Experience with (international) education is an advantage, as is experience and knowledge of various countries’ curriculums

Oxford International College of Changzhou (CZOIC) was founded in 2012 as a joint cooperation between BE Education and the Wujin Government, Changzhou. We are a co-educational international school, accepting students ages 4-18, with boarding for students age 8 - 18.
