职位描述

Regional HR Director, China-Human Resources Director-Manufacturing MNC

Reports To: Vice President Global Human Resources & GM

Location: Qingdao

Overview:
Provide the environment, resources, direction, budgets and influence for the Regional Human Resources Function to implement leading edge Human Resources systems and practices in China. Coordinate HR functions across China and through all Company WFOE and JV business.

Core Responsibilities:
1. Ensure excellence in HR processes and procedures including staffing, compensation planning and administration, training and development, performance management, and performance incentive processes across all China organizations.
2. Provide strategic direction and counsel to Company executives on human resource issues in China.
3. Manage labor relations with all business units, factories and offices.
4. Drive employee engagement - remaining union free and partnering with union where appropriate.
5. Coach Managers to create an environment where employees can be their best and reach their potential.
6. Influence Operations and Senior Management to align people and business objectives, initiatives and innovations.
7. Standardize HR policies, Employee Handbooks and Contracts for all China locations.
8. Develop and implement Retention plan for all Chinese operations.
9. Create Employee of Choice program and culture.
10. Continuously look at process improvement within the function.
11. Coach and mentor direct reports.
12. Assist each of the functions/businesses in setting strategy to be successful.
13. Manage foreign HR matters including expat IIT calculations and remittance, expat housing, payroll and taxes.
14. Participate in the due diligence of acquisitions and joint ventures.

Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills:
1. Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
2. Chief spokesperson in negotiations
3. Extensive MNC and JV experience
4. Experience in union and nonunion facilities
5. Experience supervising and leading others managing teams
6. Field/Plant HR experience
7. Plant startups and closings experience
8. International assignment or exposure is preferred

Education/Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in HR related major and MBA preferred
