Job Accountabilities/Tasks include, but not limited to :
· Develop and secure new business opportunities in (Region) for selling complete range of CargoSmart standardized/customized products, services and solutions to maximize the revenue return
· Manage and drive up revenue through complex, multiple go-to-market strategies, achieve the assigned business goals and sales targets
· Identify potential new corporate customers using own customer network, leads form trade journals, referrals, and general market knowledge
· Identify customer opportunities, market segments within the region and work with the marketing department on programs relating to sales functions
· Maximize customer value, measure business goal, increase the aggregate value from the customer base
· Manage the deal cycle in Account Planning, Relationship Management, Opportunity/Demand Pipeline Management, Developing Proposal, and Deal Closing
· Derive account penetration roadmap to acquiring, developing and retaining your most valuable customers
· Understand the customers pain, derive the customer value proposition, realize the customer ROI (return of investment), and facilitate the continuity of customer value creation
· Drive new business with select alliance partners; and develop strategic partnership with aim to maximize the business revenue return.
· Be responsible and accountable for the respective Profit &Loss (s).
· Develop relationships with regional/ local offices of global accounts and ensure complete customer satisfaction
· Maintain the CRM/Sales reporting system
· Communicate effectively with teams across region and functions weekly conference calls, quarterly business reviews and international meetings
· Act as project sponsor for integration projects, ensuring the project proceeds expeditiously and that projected returns
· Provide market feedback on product improvements to the Product Management group
Job Requirements
(Knowledge, skills, abilities, experience required to perform job)
· Bachelor's degree or above in business management, marketing, logistics, information technology or related disciplines
· Solid Sales experience (6 years minimum), with successful track record in Forwarding/ Logistics/Transportation /Shipping /e-Commerce business sectors
· Technology background is preferable
· Well-established clients network in the forwarding / logistics/ trade / transportation sectors is desirable
· Familiar with local logistics/ shipping / transportation / trade process and market dynamic is a plus;
· Able to perform quality calls and visits to customers
· Outstanding communication skills, strategic thinking and attention to details are perquisites
· Cheerful and outgoing, socially at ease in a mixture of environments, and capable of analyzing and presenting business cases at an international level
· Self motivated, results oriented, a quick learner, energetic and team player. High energy and passion for E-Commerce and logistics industry. Desire to achieve extraordinary results
· Must be bottom-line driven, pragmatic, objective and detailed in ensuring thorough implementation, with the capacity to work within a changing business environment under pressure
· Proficient in conducting presentation to corporate senior management level.
· Fluency in English and Mandarin (regional requirements), both oral and written is a pre-requisite
System/PC Software:
· MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access)
