职位描述

Job Title: Sales Manager China

Responsibilities:

  • Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures the achievement of the defined sales growth and profitability goals
  • Responsible for the sales performance and development of the Sales Engineers
  • Setting the targets and monitoring your sales team's performance and motivating them to reach targets in line with the criteria set by the Global Sales Director
  • Prepares action plans by individuals for effective search of sales leads and prospects
  • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets
  • Conducts regular one-on-one review with all sales engineers to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of Sales Engineer’s sales performance.
  • Provides timely feedback to the Global Sales Director regarding sales performance and market development
  • Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Sales Engineers
  • Assists Sales Engineers in the preparation of quotations and presentations
  • Dealing with some major customer accounts yourself
  • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
  • Recruits, tests and hires Sales Engineers based on criteria agreed upon by the Global Sales Director
  • Travel throughout the sales region together with the sales engineers

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales management
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Sound judgement and good business sense
  • Ability to motivate and lead a sales team
  • Excellent communication and 'people skills'
  • Results driven
  • Initiative and enthusiasm
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Good command of the English language, German would be advantageous
