Responsibilities
? Drive our operative and strategic sourcing activities in China by utilizing sourcing expertise, process and supplier knowledge
? Identify potential suppliers nationwide for casted parts, machining components and consumables
? Evaluate the capabilities of potential suppliers
? Constantly monitor and improve the performance of existing suppliers with regard to constantly high quality, lead time and contract loyalty
? Negotiate optimal conditions for delivery, price, quality and contractual terms
? Manage and observe timelines from quotations and sample delivery
? As a member of our global purchasing team, to be responsible for communication and cooperation with our overseas companies purchasing group, to achieve our common business target by sourcing in China
? reporting directly to GM China on purchasing activities, performance and results

Requirements
? Experience in sourcing and general procurement activities
? 5+ years hands-on experience in purchase processes and supply chain management
? Knowledge in various engineering fields, e.g. mechanical, electrical and hydraulically engineering
? Bachelor Degree or above in mechanical engineering, manufacturing and automotive
? Able to work independently and proactively seek for solution
? Strong-willed, self-motivated, and positive
? Fluent in English both verbal and written
? Age 28+
