Main Job Purpose:

The primary aims are to lead/support/co-ordinate the following activities:

- Be a single point of contact for ICQA (Inter Company Quality Agreement) for all export and import projects of Home/ Hygiene/ Beauty care products.

- Co-ordinates with factory, Logistics and Development to get feedback for root cause; & feedback to c ustomer complaints

-Participate in project meetings from feasibility stage in innovation projects in China

- Work closely with development for developing defect classifications based on BQO for all new launch/ re-launch brands.

-Support Development for key innovation projects on transit & filling trials.

- Work with Buying Team to interact with suppliers involved in key export projects.

- Lead defining SOPs for key processes in the business which has significant & potential impact on quality and consumer safety

Job Responsibilities:

- Lead defining SOPs for key processes in the business which has significant & potential impact on quality and consumer safety

- Safety: Utilise appropriate safety and environmental procedures for people, processes, materials, products and equipment to ensure a safe working environment for the whole team.

- Workplace Hazards: Full knowledge of the workplace and hazards within it. Utilise appropriate safety and environmental procedures for people, processes, materials, products and equipment relevant to the tasks in your area.

- Environment: Reduce costs due to waste and minimise impact to health, safety and the environment through working to eliminate waste and through the correct management of waste and hazardous materials.

- Quality: Ensure that all aspects of Quality within the Sourcing Unit are in accordance with agreed Quality procedures to protect and promote the brand and product.

- Leadership: Promote the development of a highly effective team through strong communication, leading by example whilst keeping focused on goals and targets.

- Logistics: Implement the principles of logistics to maintain efficient in loading of materials to the line and evacuation of product from the Sourcing Unit (Foresight, Economy, Cooperation, Simplicity and Flexibility).

- Administration: Able to administer the Sourcing Unit in a timely and accurate manner regarding shift rosters, pay, performance, training and safety whilst liaising with Line Leaders and Sourcing Unit leads to ensure policy compliance. Additionally provide support and advice to Line Leaders on issues of discipline and conflict resolution.

- Continuous Improvement: Use performance measures to identify and prioritise losses in production area. Apply rigorous Cost Deployment and the Zero loss concept to eliminate losses. Lead Focused Improvement activities to ensure Key Performance Indicators are met.

- Problem Solving: Has the ability to identify, prioritise and address problems using appropriate tools and techniques that eliminate recurrence.

- Production Output: Support the setting of Sourcing Unit production plan targets and review performance in order to drive functional goals across the Sourcing Unit.

- Business Awareness: Understanding of the need to meet changing demands and the role of marketing and product innovation in growing the business and increasing the company's share.

Job Requirements:

- Understanding Business and Category Needs and Ambitions

- Converting Ideas into Practice and Realising the Benefits in the Business

- Effectively Interfacing with Brand Development

- Application of WCM tools for root cause analysis

- Appreciation of legal requirements of various countries incl. China

- Knowledge of process and key control points with suppliers (Primary Packaging materials)

- University degree in Science/ Engineering

- 4/5 years experience in supply chain (preferably in QA and manufacturing)

- Exposure to new product development or launch preparation in factory

- Exposure to new product development or launch preparation in factory

- Good communication skills (written and spoken English)

- Good Networking skills
