Responsibilities:

The Primary responsibility during initial analysis will be to work with local subject matter experts Locate the best sources of position and cash flow data, specify the extract, transformation and validation requirements in order to populate the platform.

1. Reconciling legacy platform data to produce functional requirements for the new Strategic platform.

2. Translate the business process into technical requirements and identify key activities that will need to be built into the system

During development, the role will work with the local IT lead to

1. Provide test and QA assistance, reconciling results to requirements and existing production.

2. Define test cases, along with the users

3. Co-ordinate and record test results, analyse failures and work with the development team to fix

Requirements (indicate any mandatory and/or preferred credentials):

1. Fluent in English and Japanese

2. Strong oral and written communications to both technical and non-technical audiences

3. Experience in dealing with securities trading environment products such as equities, fixed income, and derivatives products

4. Experience in managing system testing, including planning and review cycles

5. Strong ability to correlate business process with technology solutions to best benefit both the business stakeholders and apply to proper technology architecture.

6. Ability to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced financial environment

7. Must be highly organized with attention to detail

8. Excellent technology skills for data analysis. SQL / Excel.
