Responsibilities:

The role includes key participation in a large-scale, multi-year program to migration of existing Finance and Treasury related systems in legacy data center to a new data center, using one of various new options, implementing on a new platform, re-engineering, and decommission.

Specific tasks for this role include:

1. Interfacing with stakeholders in Finance, Treasury, Tax, and Regulatory Reporting on business requirements and documenting them on a timely basis

2. Supporting Project Managers in PMO function to ensure project delivery as per program schedules; determining and reporting delivery milestones

3. Assessing upstream and downstream impacts of system changes and determining new options for these systems

4. Plan and manage testing of system implementations and representing the team for test cycle reviews.

5. Collaboration with partner technology departments such as front and middle office, settlement systems, reference data, infrastructure, and other core IT counterparties.

6. Fulfill Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology as part of project execution.

7. Support change management, change analysis, and front to back coordination.

Requirements:

1. Fluent in English and Japanese (Mandatory)

2. Strong oral and written communications to both technical and non-technical audiences

3. Proven track record in project management/delivery

4. Experience in dealing with securities trading environment products such as equities, fixed income, and derivatives products

5. Understanding of trade, settlement, and other back office flow life cycle

6. Experience in managing system testing, including planning and review cycles

7. Strong ability to correlate business process with technology solutions to best benefit both the business stakeholders and apply to proper technology architecture.

8. Ability to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced financial environment

9. Must be highly organized with attention to detail

Highly Desirable:

1. Experience directly with finance, treasury, tax, and regulatory reporting systems in a financial related industry

2. Thorough understanding of general ledger systems and related concepts

3. Experience in migration and decommission of large scale legacy (mainframe) systems

4. Development background with experience in general purpose programming languages (C, Java, etc.) and multiple OS environments (Unix/MS)

5. Experience in database design (Sybase, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
