General Purpose:
The objective would be to automate, integrate, and optimize critical end-to-end Operation Information to communicate to Customer, both Internal and External, based on Customer Demand, Capacity, CTB, Recovery

Be responsible for developing, directing and coordinating material and build planning activities that support the production plan for a given set of customer programs. Via 4M optimization

Principle Accountabilities:
? Manages, controls and directs the 4M (Man, Machine, Materials, Method) activities and staff involved in the distribution of inventory to the production line.
? Coordinates with customers, purchasing, operations managers and Program managers.
? Develops, implements and maintains policies, procedures and material planning /production planning
? Coordinates schedule of activities with customer on planning, scheduling, shipping and material acquisition during program start-ups.
? Produces revenue analysis and annual operating (AOP) plan and other forecast reports.
? Conducts special studies, investigations and analyses relating to the introduction of new products or processes to effect cost reduction and yield improvements.
? Responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s production control functions including Master Scheduling, Production Planning/Coordination, Shop Scheduling, and Dispatching.
? Develops, implements and approves items such as material requirements, planning systems, work in process tracking, material and labor variance controls and manufacturing performance reporting.
? Approves quantities, schedules and parts list provided to the material control organization to ensure timely and complete ordering, receipt and issuance of production material requirements.
? Responsible for planning, reviewing and developing production procedures and personnel.
? Maintains reports to reflect scheduling, methods, support performance and process procedures.
? Interfaces with customers to ensure delivery commitments are met and with subordinates, functional peer group managers and senior management.
? Notifies Materials and Program Management of material situation that affect the attainment of the production plan.

? Scope of Central Planning:
? Integrate the Management Information System using single platform (ERP), which becomes the ONLY operational way of analyzing and reporting. (asset management…Materials, Machine, Man, Method)
? Create accurate level loaded build plans based on Capacity and CTB.
? Provide visibility for predictable operation.
? Monitor execution and manage exceptions.
? Provide Proposed Load number in order for the PM to position back to Customer based on the above.


? Skill set of MPS:
? Customer interaction experience in area of Demand and Commit.
? Excellent ability to interact with PM, Materials and Production.
? Good PCBA Planning skills.
? Hands on understanding of ERP Modules (PP/MM/OM/SCP).
? Knowledge of Capacity Calculation.
? MRP process.
? Full Kit Simulation, CTB and Balanced Inventory concept.
? Shop floor constraints (Kitting, SMT, 5DX, ICT,FT etc).
? Neutral and unbiased in reporting.
? Escalate to MPS Leader /BU Ops Leader if any of the commitments at risk.
? Provide account health indicators to BU Ops leader on day to day status.
? Work with Bu Ops on priority setting.
? Analytical and source of information for Account CFT.
