General Purpose:
Leads a technical quoting (costing & pricing) team to deliver fast & competitive PCB/A quotes to customers.

Principle Accountabilities:
Manage a global team of PCB/FPC technical costing & pricing specialists based in various countries & coordinates all quoting activities output
Prioritize and manages efficient & effective delivery of quotes & execution of quoting activities, with key focus on quote quality, accuracy, competitiveness, on-time-delivery, cycle time
Improve customer service level & faster response time through structured processes that enable high uptime, load & response time management, quality of output, and effective communications
Enable seamless coordination & delivery of finalized customer-ready outputs that leverage various quotation components with pricing, quoting, costing, surveys.
Explain key drivers of pricing & costing to various groups including sales, engineering, and operations
Lead meetings and communications regarding quotation & pricing
Build quoting processes, procedures, approvals, systems, tools that enable efficient utilization of resources & improved service levels
Leverage guidelines & industry knowledge to check if costs and pricing are competitive & within industry range
Work with related departments to improve key competitive & accurate quoting drivers such as design guidelines, costing methods & modeling, material costing
Negotiate pricing & costing levels with Sales & Operations
Provide creative proposals that optimize cost including panel design, stack ups, and feature sets
Develop and grow quoting specialists’ capabilities
Maintain strong working relationship with key departments in Sales, Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain
Maintain reliable and robust database of team activities, costing & pricing output, input, and supporting documentation
Maintain and update quotation procedures and documentations

Education/experience:
· 5+ years managing a quoting/costing/pricing team- preferably Tier 1 PCB company
· 5-10 years of experience in quoting/costing/pricing & product engineering teams at PCB company
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience/training

Knowledge/skills/abilities:
· Able to motivate, coach, and transform team
· Strong knowledge of both rigid and flexible printed circuit solutions with broad knowledge of simple to very complex PCBs
· Strong fluency and comfort in communicating verbally & orally through English & Mandarin across various stakeholders
· Highly structured, analytical, and logical thinker
· Mindset of leaning & automation, process streamlining, and leveraging tools & software to solve problems
· Knowledge of tools, approach, processes for quoting with speed, accuracy, and efficiency
· Deep understanding of PCB “should costing” and market pricing levels
· Know-how of cost models & quoting model
· Excellent negotiation skills
· Good attention to detail & quick learner
· Experienced in various PCB software including CAM350, AutoCAD, Genesis
· Strong working knowledge PCB processes, travelers, and PCB costing
· Good Microsoft excel skills

Preferences
Capabilities in automating and speeding work while maintaining required accuracy levels
Understanding of how PCB/FPC connect into electronics assembly processes
Experience in Field Application Engineering, PCB Design Engineering, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering
Direct engagement with US, Europe, and Asian customers on DFM,TQ & Quotation
