Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with existing and new OEM customers to support the launch, stabilisation and growth of SPCN’s business. - Develop and propose market intelligence based sales strategies to acquire profitable business from new customer relationships to support the achievement of the business plan.
- Manage a customer data base, pricing models and a quotation process that is coherent with the global SPCN methodology to facilitate targeted business acquisition.
- Provide a clear point of contact with new and existing customers or with new projects on all technical and commercial issues to facilitate excellent customer service.
- Act as the voice of the customer within SPCN and the voice of the company to customers to support effective communications and relationship building. - Develop, propose and implement effective image creation and public relationship strategies to promote SPCN as a world class and financially sound competitor in the automotive components sector.
- Recruit, train and develop SPCN’s Sales team to support the achievement of outstanding levels of business acquisition and retention.
- Support the Sales Manager SPCN Turkey in the creation of excellent team spirit and team working to support the achievement of business goals and objectives. - Support the management in the development of harmonious relationships in the local commercial and broader social environment to establish SPC as socially responsible employer of choice.
Requirements:
- An appropriate educational background would be a first degree in Engineering or a related subject from a good university supplemented by a Master’s degree in either an Engineering discipline or Business Administration. Specialisation in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering would be preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the automotive business, supplying international OEMs, preferably rubber components (seals, anti-vibration, hoses etc) - International business experience, particularly managing international projects and teams in an international company
- A sound understanding of and practical experience in complex negotiations of a commercial, technical and legal nature,
- Proven leadership skills in an automotive environment involving matrix reporting lines and complex stakeholder relationships are essential. High levels of analytical decision making, pattern recognition and perceptive analytical skills are required to achieve outstanding levels of performance in this role. The job holder will be highly motivated, a “self starter”, tenacious and resilient and most importantly a team player. The role demands exceptional written and oral communication and relationship building skills.
