Job Responsibilities:

1. Must operate a manual coordinate measuring machine, use mechanical inspection instruments, and interpret drawings to perform PPAP layouts.

2. Maintain measurement & testing equipment calibration system as well as participate in associate training of product inspection and testing.

3. Will coordinate and/or perform daily color inspections using gauges and meters.

4. Will be responsible in maintaining accurate and up to date Quality records using strong basic

computer skills.

5. Will assist in identifying, isolating, and the disposition of nonconforming product, both internally generated and out sourced.

6. Will develop PPAP submissions to include capability studies, gage R & R’s, process FMEA’s and control plans.

7. Assists in developing and maintaining an attitude of Continuous Quality Improvement throughout the organization; upholds Quality Statement of DAKE TJ.

8. Daily involvement with manufacturing personnel performing floor inspections and providing

assistance and guidance.

9. Will be an advocate in creating a working environment that promotes creative thinking, problem solving, and ingenuity.

10. Will be a Champion on projects to improve cost, quality, and on-time delivery. Implements new and/or existing systems and procedures associated in respective area.

11. Assists in the preparation of departmental budgets. Supplies feedback and input into the budgeting process for the Quality Department in compliance with the business plan. Provides input for the production planning function.

12. Assures compliance with Quality Standards. Performs work in a manner consistent with the long-term strategies of the company and in accordance with the standards of our customers. Sets future direction for departmental needs based on customer requirements.

13. Participates as a member of the Quality/Operations Team.

14. Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/Industrial engineering preferred.

2. 4 years’ experience in Quality and Manufacturing, proficient with mechanical measuring instruments, including CMM, gauges, meter and calibration.

3. 3-5 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing environment; working knowledge of PCS and ISO 9001 preferred.

4. Project Management Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of quality standards and best practices, understanding of customer specific systems and processes.

5. Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.

6. Oral and Written English skills.

7. Experience as QM manager would be plus.
