Responsibilities:

- The EPC Project Manager will have overall responsibility for Project Design and Engineering, Project Controls, Project Procurement, Project Safety, and Project Quality teams for specific projects. Project Safety hard line reports into the CEO and Project Quality hard line reports into Director of Quality, however the EPC Project Manager will have strong dual reporting authority and day-to-day leadership of those teams.

- Establish safety, quality, productivity and cost metrics with quarterly targets that support corporate goals. Manage proactively to meet those targets.
- Work closely with the department leaders for each business unitto ensure on-time, high quality delivery of proposals and projects throughout their lifecycle within cost and safety targets.
- Work closely with the Manager Operations and Maintenance (O&M) to ensure smooth, timely commissioning and handoffs to O&M.
- Work closely with Product Management, Quality, and Research and Development teams to make sure that learnings captured from the field are properly fed back upstream (closed loop learning).
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering. P.E. preferred.
- 15+ years large and medium-scale construction experience.
- 5+ years solar PV industry experience.
- 10+ years of management experience, minimum.
- Deep solar project design, project engineering, project procurement, project controls, contract management, and operations & maintenance expertise.
- Proven leadership, management and delegation skills
- Proven process, system and resource optimization leadership experience
- Process excellence leader. Relentless focus on quality, cost, and process optimization
- Executive presence. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, both internally and with customers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self–direction/initiative/ability to prioritize multiple tasks from multiple requestors
- Proven people management skills, including career development, mentoring, coaching and all aspects of performance management.
- Customer relations skills. Sales team assistance and customer escalation management desirable.
- Strong communications skills – both verbal and written
- Professional bilingual proficiency in both English and Mandarin
- Proven ability to work effectively in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Project management/organizational skills
- Experience managing multiple teams across the United States and Internationally, able to bridge language and cultural barriers, desirable
- Experience working for ENR-ranked Construction Management/Engineering company with exposure and responsibilities around large-scale construction projects.
- Strong understanding and ability to apply continuous improvement and quality methodologies such as six sigma and 8D.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction safety practices and guidelines.
