职位描述
Responsibilities:
- Deliverables:
n Constructability. Review trade specific scopes of work; review BOM [bill of materials] list to confirm alignment with project documents; review plan and specifications for overall constructability; visual survey of site to confirm physical layout of mechanical/electrical/life safety elements of project; in each case provide written comment to PM on questions/comments/concerns.
n Pre-Construction Walk. Attend and participate in project construction kick-off meeting.
n Mobilization. Coordinate installation of project site general conditions, including security fencing, preparation of trailer pads and staging area, trailers & furniture, toilet & wash facilities, temporary power/communications/water, dumpsters, directional & warning signage, etc.
n Daily. Once trained by the access and use the [eBuilder] Project Management system, complete a Daily Report in eBuilder or alternative system if required; scan and upload supplemental documents which support description of daily project site activities.
n Scheduling. Using a standard template, create and distribute to PM a three week look-ahead schedule; review with Scheduler as needed to clarify input of current schedule impacts to the P6 Project Master Schedule.
n Quality. Coordinate with Field Quality on schedule for 75% project completion site visit; assist as needed to assure a complete and thorough site audit; if site audit identifies Finder-Fixer items, work with Field Quality personnel to correct and document completion of each Finder-Fixer item.
n Change Management. Work with GC and Subcontractors to mitigate change conditions; communicate to project team potential impact; work with PM and Designer to formulate solutions which minimize overall cost impact to project.
n RFIs. Review and advise PM regarding GC or Sub related RFI questions, potential solutions and potential impacts to quality and schedule; maintain file of RFIs submitted and answered for access at project site.
n Safety. Request and review SPWR Safety Manual and Tool Kit; maintain hardcopies of these documents on the jobsite; maintain a hard copy of project specific MSDS forms; within 8 hours notify Sr CM, PM and Regional Safety Rep regarding an Incident or Accident, and file an Incident or Accident Report in eBuilder; if safety issues identified during a Safety Audit by the Regional Safety Representative, work with the Auditor to correct and document completion of each Safety issue.
n Inspections. Receive plans and permit from PM and maintain in safe and orderly condition onsite, coordinate schedules for jurisdictional inspections toward achieving final sign-off of permit card and Permission to Operate from local Utility.
n Materials. Using the BOM as the basis of measurement, record and report in the eBuilder Daily Log on materials delivered, or not delivered, to project site; using eBuilder, file an NCR [Non-Compliance Report] Form for damaged materials; using eBuilder, complete and file a RTS [Return to Stock] Form for a materials not installed and not required for turnover to Owner, for return to a SPWR warehouse.
n Closeout. Manage distribution of Client Manage completion and turnover of project specific information, including as-built drawings, binders, tools/equipment with the PM
n Lessons Learned. Using a standard template, provide written lessons learned document to Sr CM for distribution to the Project Team at completion of the work.
- Interactions with stakeholders:
n Attend and contribute to weekly or interval Owner and Staff meetings
n As the onsite SPWR representative continuously work with designated Client representative and SPWR PM to manage Client quality and schedule expectations.
- Relationships with peers, subordinates, customers:
n Effective written and oral skills required in order to quickly and legibly communicate to the Project Team
- Integrate technical terms or specific knowledge into deliverables where possible
Requirements:
- Educational: degree from an accredited college, or 4 years of project site based commercial construction experience, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
- Experience:
n 8 years of commercial general construction experience
n 4 years of experience managing 2-4 support and/or trade personnel
n Resident of Hohhot and/or familiar with the construction industry standard of care for the Hohhot region
- Skills/ competencies:
n Maintain current OSHA 30 certification, > 3yrs is considered expired
n For Federal Work, a current EM-385 certification as issued by the Corp of Engineers.
n Maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications
n IT Tools: candidate will need to have a working knowledge of:
n Microsoft Windows systems and programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer
- Languages: must be fluent and legible in English, both verbal and written communications
- Preferred requirements
n Educational:
n Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or affiliated field is not required but is preferred
n Experience:
n Solar experience is not required, but experience managing and installing photovoltaic panels as part of roof, carport and/or ground mounted photovoltaic panel systems is preferred
- Skills/ competencies a candidate must have acquired while working for a General Contractor or a trade specific subcontractor:
- Ground. 2 years of grading and underground utility experience
- Utility. 2 years medium and high voltage transmission, tie-in and sub-station experience
- IT Tools. The following are not required but are preferred:
- Microsoft Windows, including Power Point, Project
- Adobe Acrobat and Reader, latest versions
- Project Management software including Prolog, eBuilder, Primavera PM, Timberline, etc.
