We are looking for a Quality Assurance Development Manager who to be part of a worldwide quality department assuring high product quality. People with the abilities and desire drive to become a part of the global team.The job location will base in Shenzhen.


Overall Purpose of Job:
? We are working in an international environment and have to assure that china sourced product live up to consumer and costumer expectation and don't violate high Brand value
? In China we are working with a broad range of suppliers. We are one of the binding knots between engineering/design and the Chinese supplier capability assuring we can deliver products on time, cost and to the agreed level of quality.
? You will have close contact, support and be challenged by a competent Quality Management Team in Shenzhen, but also from colleagues around the world. Which indicate you have to be comfortable working together with a lot of different person and cultures in a busy day-to-day situation. The group is busy around the clock.
? You will have close collaboration with suppliers, buyers, engineers, designers to achieve the right product safety and quality level. Not only located around Shenzhen, but also abroad.
? Travelling outside South china (and Hong Kong) will be a minor part of the job.
? At present we are building up the department and you will have huge influence on what direction this have to take.
? The product category is mainly toy within the building category, however in this specific position you will have to deal with other categories as well, but still focused on children and still with the same demands to the quality.

Responsibilities:

? Through orchestrating the QAD team contribute to the culture and quality mindset.
? Develop and inspire QAD team members, based on a respect of each person's characteristics and without violating their integrity, to grow personally and professionally in their positions.
? Take charge to influence the organisation in relation to have the right quality mindset.
? Take charge to support the Quality director when ever relevant. Both as coach and in relation to tasks.
? Assure and control that processes within your area are efficient, effective and in compliance with internal requirements, ISO9001 latest version and requirements related to international legislations regarding product safety. This is done in collaboration with the Central Company Quality Department.
? Participate in, contribute to and collaborate about stage setting the quality assurance strategy for Shenzhen area.
? Actively break down strategy to tactical, operational and personal goals and setup/maintain system to assure and control relevant performance indicators. And clearly communicate and assure buy in from interested parties.
? Be responsible for own personal and professional development in collaboration with the Quality Director.
? Participate and drive relevant meeting and assure and control high efficiency and effectiveness.
? Deal with the internal Engineering department, buyers, suppliers and the product development department on quality and product safety in development stage
? Develop quality assurance strategy and process on product development phase
? Establish quality system / preventive action to improve the quality performance.
? To make sure the performance of the QA team is effective and efficient
? Interact with local and global team to ensure the execution and alignment is made


Qualifications:
? Bachelor degree in mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
? Document minimum 8 years management experience in the area of quality assurance of the product development phase.
? Document achievement of management activities.
? Six Sigma Black belt certificate from acknowledged institution preferable.
? Management course certificate from acknowledged institution preferable.

Skills
? Good at thinking out of the box - innovative
? Quality assurance experience on automotive industries (TC 16949) are preferred
? Solid Experience in Six Sigma project will be an advantage
? Solid experience in LEAN projects will be an advantage
? Possess and demonstrate high integrity, strong management skills!
? Good oral and written communications skills, both in English and Chinese
? Good at value mapping and process descriptions.
? Audit experience preferable.
? Familiar with legalisations regarding toy product safety worldwide preferable.
? Experience in driven effective and value adding meetings.
