Essential Duties:
1. To participate in Bechtel Oil, Gas & Chemicals projects to perform front end, and detail engineering design.
2. Responsible for Fired Equipment (such as Fired Heaters for general refinery services, Boilers, Heat Recovery Steam Generators, Incinerator, and refinery Flares) engineering work including perform thermal design check, preparing mechanical data sheets, technical specification, material requisition, vendor technical bid clarification/evaluation and vendor prints (design drawing, strength calculation and bill of materials etc.) review.
3. Coordinate with disciplines i.e. Process, Piping, Civil / Structure, Electrical, Control Systems, Loss Prevention, etc.
4. Coordinate with Vendor / Client in engineering design.
5. Support estimating and proposal activities.
6. Support HAZOP model reviews and other project activities

Job Related Qualifications:
1. Majored in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, bachelor or higher degree.
2. Good in English language, both spoken and written. Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, project team members, and suppliers located throughout the world.
3. 5 plus years experience in Fired Equipment (such as Fired Heaters for general refinery services, Boilers, Heat Recovery Steam Generators, Incinerator, and refinery Flares) field. Experience must include:
a) Familiarity with regulations and industry codes and standards affecting fired equipment such as API 560 (ISO 13705), API 530 (ISO 13704), API 537, API 521, ASME, ASTM, NFPA, OSHA standards, etc.
b)Perform thermal design check (heat transfer and hydraulics including circulation calculations) of heat and mass balance, modeling and simulation of fired heaters, boilers, incinerators, and flares
c)Troubleshooting of heaters, burners and boilers and their revamp feasibilities
d)Familiarity with standard engineering work processes of other disciplines and departments on the projects
e)Prepare Material Requisitions (MR) (quote & purchase quality) for Fired equipment, evaluate bids, and make technical recommendations.
f)Support HAZOP model reviews and other project activities
4. A team player with strong interpersonal skills
5. Able to work under pressure to meet challenging objectives on Mega-Projects.
6. Oil, Gas and Chemical (OG&C) projects and JV/WOFE working experience is a plus.
