General Description:
This position is responsible for the production of Tianjin plant

Key Accountabilities:
Safety
- To check safety condition on shop floor on a daily basis
- Immediate corrective action for any finding of unsafe points
- Continuous operator education for preventing safety accidents and lessons learned
Quality
- To check daily quality problems and define corrective action (according to procedures)
- Master weekly quality meeting to review weekly quality level
- Operator education to promote quality mind
- Corrective action for NG parts and route causes finding (systematic approach)
- To set up production system to meet TS 16949/ISO 14001 requirement
- To understand and use SPC, 8D, 5WHY as daily tools
Production Control
- To set up BWPS and perform BWPS audit periodically with the BWPS Leader
- To hold daily Production meeting with Quality and Logistics
- To manage production to meet the planning
- To monitor "Kanban" operation to maintain optimum stock level
- To set daily production plan and operation plan
- To check deliveries from supplier material/parts with logistics
Process Control
- To monitor compliance with operation standard
- To check operating condition and keep record of it
- Continuous monitoring of operator license and improvement of implementation
- Education and evaluation of operator license system
- Process improvement activity through OEE% and TPM
Labor Management
- Training for foreman to promote leadership
- Periodic counseling with operators
- Team building activities with operators
- To promote good communication between operators
- Manpower planning
- Overtime management
TPM & 5S
- Monitoring daily machine check sheet done by operator (Safety, TPM, 5S, Poka-Yoke)
- Daily Layered Audit
- TPM improvement through Availability%
Management by Objective
- Cost reduction target set-up and follow-up
- Balanced score card (BSC) evaluation and follow-up
- Key Performance Indicator follow-up

Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering .
MBA or Master Degree in Manufacturing/Industrial/Operations Engineering
+8 years experience in production operations
Working knowledge and experience in implementation of operational concepts and tools (TPM, Kanban, SPC, OEE, 8D, etc.)
6 Sigma training & experience preferred
Management presentation skills and experience
Project leadership experience desired.
Experience with general office computer tools (word processing, spreadsheets, and office communications)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English
