CLIENT PROFILE
Our client has over 50 years history, is a global design consulting firm focusing on full-service building consultancy solutions across the value chain, including architecture, engineering, quantity surveying, project and construction management, coastal engineering and infrastructure, urban planning, building technology and sustainable design.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Performance Indicators
Be a strong business partner to the Senior Management in China HQ
Oversee the HR function in the China HQ
Work closely with Corporate HR to formulate and direct the overall HR direction for China HQ
Provide oversight to the HR functions in project companies
Job Responsibilities
S/N Job Responsibilities
1 Formulate a HR work-plan based on China HQ’s direction and strategy and in consultation with Corporate HR
2 Develop China’s HQ’s HR processes such as creating an organization chart, compensation and benefits system and manpower planning process, according to the guidelines set by Corporate HR
3 Lead and drive talent acquisition strategies such as recruitment and succession planning to ensure manpower needs are met.
4 Develop and implement a company training plan to ensure that all staff are equipped with required competencies to take the company forward
5 Implement a sound compensation and benefits system in consultation with Corporate HR
6 Design a performance management system according to Corporate HR guidelines to ensure all staff are properly assessed and rewarded
7 Plan and execute HR strategies and direction for each local project company
8 Responsible for establishing an effective communication channel where employees’ complaints and feedback can be heard and responded to
9 Facilitate mentoring sessions for good performers to evaluate, guide and develop their subordinates, according to operational needs
10 Provide oversight to local HR function in project companies and understand local operational matters
11 Handle any ad-hoc assignments when required
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS – QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
1. Academic Requirements
Minimum Academic Qualifications □ Diploma √Bachelor’s Degree □ Master’s Degree □ Ph.D.
Specialization Management, Economics, Human Resource Management Position □Basic □Mid √Senior
2. Skill Requirements
Required Knowledge and Skills 1. Skilled in using the Computer
2. Skilled in Office Automation Tools
3. Sound knowledge in National and Regional Labour laws and legislations where the project companies operate
4. Proficient in both spoken and written English
Required Software Proficiency □Photo shop □CorelDRAW □3DMAX □others_________
3. Work Experience
1. 10 years of work experience, of which at least 5 years of experience in human resource management with foreign-owned enterprises
2. Must possess a national Senior Human Resource Professional certification
4.other requirements
1. Strong interpersonal skills and able to handle complex situations
2. Excellent communication skills
3. Sound knowledge in National and Regional labor laws and legislations where project companies operate
