Position Summary
This role is mainly to apply lean knowledge in supply chain for supplier in China to improve the efficiency, cut down the waste and improve the quality of the product. The role expects the person to be independent and have good knowledge in manufacturing environment with at least 5 years hands on in Lean implementation with good track record in successful implementation.

Specific Requirement
- Establish the improvement and development plan for the key suppliers from Lean perspective. Lead the supplier to improve their processes thru lean approaches. Able to use Lean’s tool like 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, PDCA etc. to guide the supplier to develop lean culture and build the improvement process in house.
- Thru the knowledge of lean and experience, able to identify the areas of improvement in the supply chain and execute the plan with suppliers.
- The lean plan must be able to be quantified into saving dollar which BU recognized the saving and supplier also see the benefit of doing it.
- Work independently under project basis and able to provide periodic progress update to the management.
- The person also need to be able to conduct training for the suppliers in some basic lean knowledge and identify projects which can be turned into result in improving the product quality, reducing the cost etc.
Minimum Qualification

EDUCATION:
Essential: Bachelors degree or above in supply chain management, combined with appropriate purchasing related trainings.
Lean program certification

EXPERIENCE:
Essential: Work in Lean manufacturing environment for at least 5 years and able to show good track record of successful lean implementation.
Nice to have: MNC exposure and interaction with different cultures or have international exposure before.

LANGUAGE:
Essential: English at high level in speaking and writing.
Mandarin: fluent;

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Essential:
- Microsoft Office skill – Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
- Systematic approach in tackling problem
- Ability to plan, manage and execute projects.
- Ability to anticipate and resolve conflicts and obstacles.
- Professional (Clear, logically structured) communication within the team and with internal and external customers.
- Personal integrity, being patient, mature, independent.
Nice to have: Vocal and speak up for what is right; be firm and tough in dealing with suppliers
