What are my responsibilities?
-The primary responsibility will be to conduct structure integrity assessment for gas turbine rotor components or assembly including strength, fatigue and fracture mechanics assessment. As part of the above responsibilities, the candidate will:
-Development of design correlations for structural integrity. Application of tools for structural integrity determination.
-Special focus on new development & results as well as related field feedback including manufacturing feedback
-Create, evaluate, reviews and applies specifications and other technical documents, e.g. design philosophy, structure integrity correlations, review package and reports (including non-conformance reports).
-Drive product quality and improvements to minimize non-conformances, design to cost and fast turnaround time
-Support the evaluation of non-conformance reports and definition of further measures. Interpretation of calculations results regarding strength, low cycle fatigue, high cycle fatigue, creep, fracture mechanics etc.

What do I need to qualify for this job?
Experience Requirements:
-Advanced knowledge of 2D and 3D FE modeling and calculation(contact modeling, transient thermal mechanical calculation)
-Advanced knowledge of fatigue, creep and fracture mechanics
-Basic knowledge of design optimization method and application.
-Basic knowledge in Turbomachinery design
-Knowledge of forging material and manufacturing process a plus
-Advanced knowledge of probabilistic design a plus
-Experience of six sigma methods and tools a plus
-Experience in using ANSYS Classic and familiar with APDL language
-Fluent English in speaking and writing. Presentation skills are highly desirable.
-Strong interpersonal skills to work with multi-cultural colleagues, customers, industry experts, and university associates.
Educational Requirements:
-Master degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics or Aeronautical Engineering.
