- For our Siemens Corporate Technology in Beijing, Siemens is looking for a Research Scientist.

- IT Platform
- The IT Platform Technology Field develops and refines computing platforms to enable new software applications for a wide range of Siemens businesses. These system architectures allow our customers to reap performance benefits from parallel and multi-core architectures and to efficiently handle big data and cloud computing systems. Our experts are located in Germany, the US, India, China and Russia.

What are my responsibilities?
- Design and improve the architectures of enterprise-level platforms/applications
- Implement key modules of enterprise-level cloud platforms/applications
- Provide design & guidance of technical stack for the development team
- Work together with the research group for high-level platform architecture & framework definition, platform/application design specification documentation, etc.

What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Qualifications
- Master degree or above in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3+ years of development or architect design experience, strong OO skills
- Development expertise in at lease 2 of the listed: Java, C#, Objective C, C++, JavaScript
- Extensive experience on development frameworks, including Struts, Spring, Hibernate, jQuery, etc.
- Extensive experience on DB systems, such as Oracle , DB2, Mysql, MS SQLServer, etc.
- Self-motivated, good communication skills and good team player
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on enterprise-level cloud platform/application design and development
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Language
- Fluent in English & Chinese (reading, writing, speaking).
