Vista China Office is currently located in central area of Shanghai. We provide software implementation and related services to our Asian customers.

Software Developer
The successful applicant will have very strong technical ability and enthusiasm for the software development process. Their employment record will demonstrate an ability to embrace challenge and work quickly and accurately. Aptitude for software design, the leadership of small teams, or project management will be encouraged and supported, but the primary requirement is for a person who will come up to speed quickly and make themselves indispensable through the quality of their programming work.

Our technical tools are dominantly Microsoft based – in particular we use Visual Studio and SQL Server, programming on .NET framework for maintenance and support. While expertise in the web development environment is useful most of our application suite is client/server based over a distributed LAN/WAN architecture.

We have an opportunity for .NET application/Web developers - if you have some of the following…
？ A passion for writing well organised, elegant and maintainable code in a team environment
？ A strong desire to continue to improve, enhance and broaden your skills in busy, fast-paced, dynamic environment with great team members and mentors
？ 2 or more years’ experience building complex data editing and visualisation applications for Windows desktop. WinForms experience a definite advantage
？ 2 or more years’ experience building apps with ASP.Net, MVC experience a definite advantage
？ SQL skills including query analysis and optimisation
？ Strong working knowledge of Object Oriented software design techniques and modern patterns such as MVC, MVVM, and DDD
？ Experience developing WCF, Web API or ASMX service oriented APIs and services also useful


Person specification:

Qualifications, technical skills and experience:
？ Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science (or similar discipline)
？ Experience in a software support and/or development role
？ Strong knowledge of SQL Server
？ Strong knowledge of .NET VB, .NET C#
？ Strong knowledge of Networking
？ Passed CET-4 (or similar English skill)
？ Chinese citizen or Chinese resident or holds a current Chinese work permit
？ Current passport holder, or is able to obtain a passport when necessary for overseas travel
