JOB TITLE: Global Product Line Manager, GPLM

DEPARTMENT: Aftermarket Services

LOCATION: Shenzhen

As a member of the SBU Audio Services Global Product Team, this position is responsible for executing new products to the Regional Business Units in a timely and profitable manner. This includes providing a clear product roadmap and timeline to deliver differentiated and profitable growth over the product life-cycle based on a deep understanding of customer and market needs. This position will drive the execution through Gate 2 through 4 of the product development cycle. This role will drive revenue and margin expansion of existing product lines through effective sales force & channel initiatives and pricing strategies through the Regional Business Units.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develop a clear vision and product roadmaps across all product lines including brand positioning.

2. Translate product strategy and vision and prioritize into a rolling 3-year product roadmap and release calendar.

3. Develop product documents such as business plans, product roadmaps, ROI/market-value analysis, and consumer use case templates, and change requests.

4. Define market-winning products that differentiate from competitors, increase market share and expand margins.

5. Identify requirements and features by collaborating with engineering, program management, and sales teams.

6. Manage the review structure of product concepts as defined by the annual line plan.

7. Adapt to and manage change to the strategic direction of the company and respond rapidly to market opportunities.

8. Identify and develop new product opportunities globally.

9. Leverage technologies within company to determine future products by working closely with sourcing team.

10. Ensure product documentation is accurate and updated regularly for many cross functional participants.

11. Responsible for product collateral such as photo samples, artwork, user manuals, and other product literature are developed, reviewed, and released for production.

12. Participate in Executive review meetings.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

1. 5-7 years of related consumer electronic product management and marketing experience in bringing innovative products that matter to consumers to market. (Should have prior experience in sales and marketing).

2. Preferred experience with mobile aftermarket products.

3. Demonstrated Track Record of Growth: ability to grow and forecast existing product lines, and develop and commercialize new products in a timely and profitable manner. Experience developing a product roadmap across a variety of business models is helpful.

4. High Customer Orientation: Recognition and credibility with the customer as a trusted, collaborative and productive partner. Understands what it takes to win in the market place.

5. High Financial Aptitude: Understands a P&L with strong business acumen; analytical and numbers-driven decision making.

6. Project Management Skills: Exceptional planning and organizational skills. Experience participating in matrix, global, cross-functional teams, which require collaborative planning with members of other sales groups, product groups, operations, marketing, etc.

7. Results and Detail Oriented: Holds others accountable for commitments.

8. College Degree is required

9. MBA highly desired – Business or Marketing preferred
