Position Title : Reliability Engineer
Specific Work Location: China - Shenzhen

Position Details:
Support JDSU SZ TxRx R&D groups to introduce products through the PDP procedure. This position reports to the reliability team manager.
- develop and drive rel qual plans.
-Perform and facilitate DFMEA and PFMEA analyses of product designs. Present DFMEA/PFMEA analyses to customers.
-For new technologies, develop design of experiments (DOEs) to estimate the expected life and failure rate of the technologies in field conditions.
-Perform FIT Rate Analyses for products and provide recommendations on component selection/application for highest reliability. Work with Global Supply Management on component selection and qualification.
-Manage qualification testing on products performed at our CMs qual lab. Review data from qualification tests and write qualification reports.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent, with at least 2 years reliability engineering experience in optical comms industry.
Must be able to communicate in English.
