Position Title: Production Operator
Location: Shenzhen, China
Duration: Long Term but Contract is signed on yearly basis
Schedule: 7 days per week for offshore
Report to: Production Lead
Department/BU: Production Department

Summary/Overview:
Assist Production Lead to perform the day-to-day offshore (12-hourly shift basis) operational matters on the platform such as process monitoring & troubleshooting, execution of the Permit to Work System. Keep continuous improvement on HSE consciousness, production operation related knowledge, technique & experience through routine offshore jobs.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
？ Get fully understanding about the HSE policies and requirement.
？ Implement, control and monitor Company’s HSE policy, safety rules and regulations and other safety programs.
？ Implement, control and monitor Permit to Work system to ensure work sites are safe and support all work requests to be safely carried out without impact on production.
？ Good team work attitude and behaviour during day to day operation. Ensure effective communication with operation crew, maintenance crew or other relevant parties.
？ Keep continuous improvement in understanding and skill of process theory through training, coaching, and self-studying.
？ Understand and know well of the operation working principle and operation method of each equipment.
？ Follow the instruction from Production Lead in the management / controlled shutdown of the Processing Facilities in the event of an emergency situation.
？ Control process through ICSS when required by Production Lead.
？ Responsible as designated role in the event of emergency, and play the role during site emergency drills.
？ Implement the utilization CMMS for PM’s and Work Order to ensure timely accomplishment of the planned work.
？ Implement the environmental protection policies, control discharge requirements for the platform, and take suitable measure during operation to avoid oil spill.
？ Support and monitor periodical well service program to ensure timely accomplishment of the work.
？ Support Production Lead in house training and coaching trainees to ensure competency.
？ Conduct Well test in according with well test schedule. Find out the possible reason when the tested dada differ much with the well’s history and re-test it.
？ Responsible for lab sample test, record and documentation.
？ Adjust chemical injection flow rate timely to ensure the real injection always meets the recommended rate.
？ Good Cooperation with other work crews and monitor SIMOP to ensure all work are carried-out safely and there is no interruption of production.
？ Optimize the processing conditions according to the Central Control RM and provide timely feedback and abnormality occurred on site to Production Lead.
？ Monitor the records of the running status of equipment on board, manage the consumption, stock of chemicals.
？ Responsible for writing handover report for shift change, and report to Production Supervisor.
？ Have the right to refuse implementing the unsafe instruction from superior during operating.

Education, Qualifications & Experiences:
？ More than 3 years’ experience in oil & gas industry.
？ Possess at least diploma degree.
？ Knowledge of both wells and topside process. Able to operate process offshore equipment: Separators, pumps and auxiliary equipment, pumps, wellhead control panel, wellhead, etc.
？ Willing to work on shift.
？ Physical ability to go regularly to the offshore installations from time to time as required.

Required Competencies/Skills:
？ HSE minded; basic knowledge of good safety practices
？ Obtained BOSIET, gas testing, fire-fighting and first aid certificates will be an advantage
？ Good command of written and spoken English.
？ Familiar with Microsoft computer applications.
