Job Title: Senior Technologist II,DB
Report to: Assistant Product Development Manager
General responsibilities: Assist scientist to lead the project research on sourcing and analysis the possibility for new products development.

Key responsibilities: 1. Executes and assist to dessert team leader on technical research projects in product and process development.
2. Translates technical knowledge, and scientific information into product/process.

Legislation/labeling checking for new raw materials and ingredient list.

4. Functions as internal expert and troubleshooter in area of specialty.
5. Collect lab trial data and analysis feasibility to assist scientist Influences the direction of projects, and suggests new projects based on new idea submission.
6. Draft raw materials, FG specifications and entering into ERP system.
7. Works with ingredient suppliers and R&D processing technologist as needed by project activity.
8. Writes and edits reports and regular updates to provide concise summaries of project work. Makes presentations of results and recommendations to various groups, both internally and externally.
9. Maintains accurate, up-to-date records, laboratory notebooks and computer database.
10. Supplies technical inspiration and leadership to many projects/initiatives.
11. Ensures the work environment is sanitary, safe and orderly.
12. China PSC sensory evaluation subject matter expert. Coordinate sensory evaluation training in China, set up basic sensory capability in China.
13. Support Asia Dessert & Bakery NPD projects
14. Manage projects to improve China bakery capability

Education required: Degree in food science or related field. Master degree is plus
Working experience: 1. Working experience in Bakery ingredients / NPD /international bakery compnay / bakery application / food safety & regulatory
2.10 years' relevant working experiences, >5 years ' NPD, project management
Skills and abilities: 1. Good presentation, problem solving skills, innovative approach and be able to apply concepts to application,
2. Speaks and writes Chinese, good understanding of written/spoken English.
3. Computer literate, DOE software
4. Willing to travel extensively throughout China.
5. understand sensory evaluation
Health Required: "Good health condition that conforms to health requirement of food factories;
Health certificate is needed."
