Job Title / Function:

Sales Engineer _ Instrumentation Test Systems Sales _chassis Dyno products.

Reports to: Manager of ITS Chassis Dyno Sales Team

General Description:

The sales engineer is the product and application expert for his range of all type of chassis dyno, and responsible for development of the sales for these products in the local market.

He knows and understands the local market and customer requirements and the AVL solutions. His task is to maximize the AVL order intake, corporate contribution and long term customer satisfaction for his product range.

Career development: After training, starting with try individual product and simple application, getting qualification for the full sales engineer role, he takes full responsibility for individual projects.

Main Responsibilities:

· Excellent product and application know how for his product range.

• Active development of stand-alone product sales with existing and new customers
• Understand customers technical requirements and provide solutions and application consulting
• Create quotations which match the technical and commercial requirements of the customer
• Active management and documentation of project opportunities in general tool
• Product marketing activities such as seminars, local marketing material, support of local exhibitions
• Work with local AVL teams to recognize customer needs and business opportunities
• Work with product segment in headquarter to represent market and customer requirements
• Represent the professional image of AVL at all the time
• Market/ competitors analysis

Qualification:

• Minimum bachelor degree of engineering, major in engine, auto-testing or Mechanical Engineering
• About 3-5 years working experiences of engine or vehicle test , solid technical knowledge and experiences
• Outstanding communication, presentation and commercial negotiation skills
• Fluent in English and Chinese
• Entrepreneurial, Self-motivated, flexible and good team player
• Be able to accept frequent business travel.
