Role Summary/Purpose
The IM Program Manager (O&G China IT Ops Leader) provides a regional IT Operations presence in the China Region (“the region”) and considered the single point contact for O&G Technology organization (CTO Group) for services at multiple locations in the region.

Essential Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities
− Develop and execute China Regional IT Ops strategy that is aligned with business objectives and lays a foundation for continuous improvement
− Liaison with China regional Leaders, Plant Managers to understand business CTQ's and growth plans to align IT Ops strategy to support regional growth
− Align with global program teams in the region and CoEs to support ERP and other application/integration implementations in the region
− Ensures high performance and availability for the region - applications and networks
− Work with ISS and other GE infrastructure organizations to deploy best in class IT infrastructure service to the ~1,600 users in the China region.
− Deploy IT infrastructure solutions like LAN, WAN, VLAN, Storage and Voice across sites and CAC’s being built in the region as per GE ISS standards
− Provide regional leadership during outages and crises & ensure speedy resolution and engagement of right resources
− Provide regional leadership & drive execution plans for Project SEE (Data Center Consolidation) , Cloud Connect project in the China region
− Lead the Cloud Aware and ONE AD and other CTO global projects for ASPAC region
− Drive Services 2.0 by working very closely with Services Directors for O&G in the Region.
− Proactively monitor and deploy regional and business trends to drive cost reductions/savings in infrastructure & communication spend
− Keep abreast of enabling technologies and work as a partner to promote their effective use
− Coordinates internal and external communications, issue resolution, vendor relationships, implementation / testing plans, training plans and successful transition to support and maintenance teams.

− Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or Engineering.
− Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT Leadership & Infrastructure technical roles.
− Experience managing/developing IT budgets
− Proven interpersonal, written/verbal communication and facilitation skills
− Familiar with current technologies and trends including Cisco, HP, Microsoft hardware standards.
− Previous large-scale project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
− Demonstrated experience with ITIL framework
− Travel - less than 20%

Desired Characteristics
− MBA or Master degree preferred
− Experience using Six Sigma tools and techniques desired
− Green Belt Certification preferred
− ITLP Graduate preferred (for GE employees only)
− Prior experience with acquisition due diligence and infrastructure integration
− Familiar with Windows based servers and data backup solution.
− Familiar with CISCO Network infrastructure device(routers, switches, firewall
− Familiar with voice/video conference solution. Experience of PBX configuration is preferred.
− Good knowledge of anti-virus and system security, data safety.
