Project Description
The sr. software engineer will play a major role in requirement analysis, system design, new project development, bug fixes, enhancements and subsequent support activities, working in a global team with project managers, business analysts, business stakeholders and other technical experts across multiple locations in American, Europe and China.
The successful candidate will be a top performer and versatile professional on design, development and implementation of system infrastructure.
Job Role
1. Understand the existing technical architecture and infrastructure of the tool in the live environment.
2. Define, design, implement, unit test and debug complex, multi-tier distributed software applications on platform.
3. Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and rollout system changes.
4. Work with other engineers, project management, QA team and Operation team to design and implement application features.
5. Work independently on small releases and troubleshooting.
6. Develop industry and product technical expertise.
7. Work closely with the other development teams in US, Europe or India, with flexible working time.
Job Skills Required
1. BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent).
2. A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
3. At least 5+ years working experience in .Net programming.
4. Solid experience in .Net framework.
5. Solid experience in web programming (such as JavaScript, Ajax, JQuery, etc.).
6. Solid skills on SQL, Familiar with SQL Server databases in both programming and performance tuning; and administration is a plus
7. Hand on experience in efforts estimation and task breakdown
8. Hand on experience in performance tuning with good knowledge about performance and scalability.
9. Mature Debugging & troubleshooting skills in Large-scale software product.
10. Fluent communication skills in Oral English communication and email writing.
11. Working experience in multi-national company is a plus.
12. Knowledge on Java and working experience on Java is a plus.
