Job Description – Office Manager

Scope of Areas: Chongqing and Chengdu in Sichuan Province

Reporting: - Direct report to Regional Manager, Eastern China

Job Description

- Response for performance and reporting, including evaluation of new market potential based on local market needs to facilitate achievement of short and long-tem business goals of the company.
- Develop potential market initiatives across air, sea and logistics services in line with company strategies to facilitate growth in the region.
- Lead and oversee the office to insure operation efficiency, quality, service and cost-effective management of resources
- Monitor performance in the office according to company standards and take necessary actions in cope with performance levels.
- Liaise with other regions and functional division managers so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of company and business development.
- Maintain good and proper relationship with customers, agents, vendors and other government authorities
- Develop and/or maintain good working relationship with selected vendors so as to ensure the best company services to the customers.

Working Experience / Skill
- At least 5 years working experience in freight and logistics industry in China
- Good management skill, communication and interpersonal skill
- Good knowledge and experience in market expansion and development
- Good command both English and Mandarin
- Frequency travel required

Education
- A Combination of completion of a degree, or master in business administration and or in related to international freight forwarding and logistics industry.
