About Our Client
Our client is a Wholly Owned Foreign Enterprise headquartered in Germany. With its fast business expansion in China, they are looking for a Sales Manager.
Job Description
Report to: General Manager
Subordinates: 3
The Sales Manager will be responsible for promotion and realization of company’s and Quality targets, and provide active support of the continuous improvement spirit.
Sales activities
- Provide necessary input to setting up sales plan on yearly basis
- Organizing customer visits to follow up opportunities
- Provide quotes to customer in time and expected quality
- Leading through annual price review
- Provide information to other Alfmeier entities about customers, programs and opportunities
- Negotiate and sign customer contracts
- Apply value and market conform price calculations
- Ensure payment on time from customers
Corporate Development
- Contribute to global customer database from China view
- Cooperate with global sales team for global platforms from customers
Job Requirement
- University level engineering degree (Bachelor, Master), additional business degree and/or business experience
- International experience: exposure to a multi-cultural environment
- Automotive industry, basic knowledge about automotive process engineering, injection molding/assembly, quality management, R&D processes, business development, project management, development of value-added partnerships, transfer of production lines, competitive benchmarking
- Customer-orientation, communication and negotiation skills in a multi-cultural environment, problem solving, languages (Chinese, English)
