Key Responsibilities

1. Working with US purchasing team to transfer FG product / SP/ACCESSORY(Asia supplier made) from Milwaukee US_BUY to China BUY

2. Manage strategy & allocation with suppliers, adjust supplier strategy based on supplier performance and business trend.

3. Regularly negotiating cost reduction with supplier to achieve global cost reduction goal and favorable supplier terms & conditions

4. Support cost reduction activities for oversea sites and help other Bus to build relationship with regional suppliers

5. Develop new valued suppliers to fulfill T&M cost trend and match with product roadmap

6. Support new project development – tooling cost negotiation/PO, material sourcing, payment etc

7. Supplier management, oversee supplier’s capacity, material planning to ensure on time delivery to fulfill customer needs in timely manner.

8. Coordinate with internal team - OPD, accounting / finance team etc to follow up for all commercial aspect relative to T&M business ,

Person Specifications

1. Strong entrepreneurial mindset, able to see end game and paths to achieve.

2. Presentation skills – verbal and written.

3. Negotiating Skills – intercompany cross-functional, external with suppliers.

4. Adept at cross-functional communication, listening and interpersonal skills.

5. Able to set direction, while allowing independent thinking.

6. English & Mandarin language desirable – oral general communications.

7. Strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities.

8. Adept at establishing/maintaining credibility, vertical and horizontal.

9. Undergraduate MBA or relative degree required

10. Min. 8 years as sourcing/purchasing expert in the related industry;

11. Knowledge and working experience in metal processing / treatment method, metal materials, plastic and injection process, electronic component sourcing

12. Willing to travel frequently to visit factories and suppliers in the PRC, Taiwan and oversee as needs

13. Strong multi-tasking capabilities, and be able to combine urgent “fire-fighting” & tactical skills, with longer-term strategic improvement initiatives;

14. Personality of honesty, integrity, cooperative, open-minded and optimistic;

15. Good management skills.
