Job description

Setup and leadership of the Automotive Products sales team in China

§ Develop and implement mid term plan

§ Prepare annual sales budget

§ Penetrate existing customers and expand the customer base

§ Establish and maintain excellent relationship with customers

§ Lead and supervise AP sales team in China

§ Initiate RFQs, determine price and contractual conditions, submit & follow-up quotations

§ Negotiate & conclude supply contracts and price agreements (global KA coordinated with BUs)

§ Observe market and competition

§ Support Customer Service regarding delivery and inventory issues

§ Cooperate with plants in dealing with customer complaints

§ Cooperate with the global AP Key Account Management teams

§ Assure internal and external flow of information (local and globally)

§ Ensure proper use of management tools & processes: CRM, MbO, CIP, BSC, Budget, BMS…

Requirements:

§ At least 5 years of successful track record in sales & marketing in automotive industry

§ Worked in the Automotive industry (TIER suppliers, OEM)

§ Responsible for sales, margin and cost (budget achievement)

§ Experience in dealing with global Key Accounts

§ Sound leadership experiences

§ Surplus: Cold forming, fastening technology or other metal processing

§ Eager to achieve goals, target oriented management style

§ Self-driven entrepreneur

§ Strategic and operational thinking

§ Leadership & organizational skills

§ Negotiation skills

§ Personality and communication skills to talk to people on all hierarchy levels

§ Feels comfortable in international working environment

§ Openness to foreign cultures

§ Willingness to travel intensively
