Objectives of the function:
-Implementation of the Company-Vision "Best-in-Class" and Company-mission " customer enthusiasm" and the Company claims "shaping ideas" and "better-faster-innovative"
-Contact person for internal and external customers (consulting, problem solving) in engineering, development and design issues
-Individual completion of efficient customer suitable products, design and development task as well as mold designs
-Implementation of design tasks for customer projects

Tasks
Customer
-constructive consulting and support for the customer
-providing impulses for innovation
-Ensuring the necessary development / design performance (quantity, time, quality)
-Coordination of development / design performance with the direct and indirect customers
-Support of sales department at acquisition and customer support in the development and design topics
Company
-Participate in the protection of Company regarding intellectual property rights of third parties.
Personnel
-Continuous self-development in expertise and design methodology
-Promotion and coordination of cooperation with all concerned departments
Process/System
-Lived 3V system with consistent and goal-oriented decisions within the area of competence
-Ensuring efficient design and development processes
-Monitoring / compliance with the Weber-management system, customer requirements and legal requirements in the area of responsibility
Project
-Responsibility of the component functions acc. customer requirements
-Development / design responsibility within the project team according to Company-Project Management-Guideline (PML)
-Participation in project meetings
-Coordination of development & design activities with the project team, the client and other cooperating developers (external and internal)
-Ensure the required design capacity for the development of components and mould design (quantity, time, quality) in the area of responsibility
-Assurance of the development / design in terms of the required performance
-Work closely with all interfaces to ensure and optimize the transfer of know-how, information and techniques
Requirements
-University degree, for example: Bachelor in mechanical or plastics engineering, or professional with vocational training in the technical field
-Computer skills (3D CAD systems UG and Catia, SAP, MS-Word, -Excel -PowerPoint -Project, Outlook) -Several years of design and development experience (plastic products, components, injection molds) -Mastery of project management
-Ability to actively fascinate customers: persuasion, conflict resolution skills, innovative strength
-Technical sense in terms of customer-related and future-oriented development solutions
-Sense of technical feasibility and implementation capacity in series production
-Responsible individual work behavior; corporate, project and customer orientation, and self-motivation -Strong personality with appealing and convincing appearance
-Entrepreneurial thinking and acting with driver mentality
-Mastering of the Business English
