Purpose of the role

Responsible for maintain and troubleshoot PC hardware/software, LAN and network, ERP, including the training on IT applications; IT hardware and software purchase and maintenance.

Core Accountabilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

? Provide the IT leadership to Aleris Tianjin
? Technical support of company’s computer hardware/software including desktops, servers and LAN maintenance, and so on
? ERP system maintenance and process development
? Liaison with Global IT team for any IT initiatives and policy implementation


Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
? Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
? 3-5 year experience in computer hardware & ERP support and programming
? MS & Cisco Network administration certification
? Strong project management background
? Preferably with prior ERP implementation background

Language Skills
? Competent in written and oral English
? Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
? Ability to perform simple math functions and interpret graphs.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Other Skills And Abilities
? Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a fast paced environment with limited supervision.
? Excellent oral and written communication skills for dealing with visitors, employees, and management
? Capability of managing multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and work under pressure


Preferred:
? Knowledge of Access databases, Oracle, and Lotus Notes is a plus.
