Job Descriptions：

1. APQP related functions:
? Support the evaluation, validation and introduction of new products and processes (APQP Phases 3 & 4) as required.
? Take full ownership and responsibility of APQP released processes after completion of Step 1 process readiness with the clear objective to achieve “full release” (Step 3 process readiness).
? Responsible for all PPE related activities and assigned PPE projects to meet local requirements by production and customer demands, e.g. customizing projects and creation of size tools as per definition.
2. Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) to reduce manufacturing waste and meet QEP targets:
? Supports the OEGR corporate procedure process for Control of non-conformities, ensures global co-operation and implementation of defined solutions.
? Supports local production managers in the continuous improvement process by identifying and prioritizing other manufacturing waste and applying Practical Problem Solving Methods.
? When capital is required, provide budget, resource, justification and planning information to support the decision making process.
? Lead capital projects to completion meeting budget, timing and performance criteria.
3. Global Standardization:
? Design responsible for production released (Step 1 achieved) Machines, Tools, Process, etc…
? Provides process documentation to establish, maintain and improve standardizations in all responsible areas. (Process Work Instructions, Process Parameter Charts, PFMEA, Process Flow, Maintenance Instructions etc…)
? Follows engineering change procedures as applicable to all process defining documentation.
? Supports a global effort to improve and optimize engineering change procedures and tools.
4. Departmental and Strategic Responsibilities:
? Supports the development and awareness of annual PPE strategic plans focusing on present issues and identifying future opportunities.
? Performs competitive analysis, identifying opportunities and potential necessary changes in production technology.
? Analyzes financial data and KPI’s to provide timely and insightful understanding of the business economics, results and trends - also against budget.
? Ensures the development of a strong and effective regional PPE team. Establishes individual and departmental goals aligned with the Oetiker Strategy, the Oetiker Production Strategy and the Oetiker PPE Strategy.

Job Requirements:

1. 6+ years engineering experience, preferably in a high-mix/high-volume manufacturing OEM environment.
2. Degree in Engineering combined with relevant experience and responsibility level(s).
3. Experience in Automotive manufacturing.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
5. Experience of Quality and Environmental System (i.e. ISO/TS 16949, and ISO 14001 Standards).
6. Excellent leadership, communication skills and strategic thinking.
7. Excellent project management skills.
8. Excellent “hands-on” problem solving using structured methods.
9. Ability to balance the need to achieve and maintain appropriate alignment with corporate and global operating frameworks and goals with responsibility to local business requirements.
10. Experience in continuous improvement, LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies.
11. Acute awareness and understanding of the role manufacturing plays within the business and supports its overall success (operational, financial, employee growth, customer success).
12. Talented in collaborating effectively across departmental functions.
13. High integrity, fair, emotionally mature, self-aware.
14. Active listener, coach mentality, able to constructively challenge.
15. Travel required: 10 - 15%.
