Role and responsibilities:
The Public Relations (Assistant) Manager will play a key role within the marketing and communications division, developing brand awareness.
Manage public relations works of Dr.Brandt.
Develop PR and social strategies, campaigns, and initiatives to improve public perception of Dr.Brandt.
Organizing promotional events such as press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours and visits
Building up contacts with media representatives
Identify media trends, news cycles and spin opportunities
Proactively manage editorial calendars.
Analyze and measure results of PR programmes.
Prepare and publish newsletters and other Dr.Brandt literature.
Release literature about new products.
Respond to information queries from media and the general public.
Write press releases and media kits.
Maintain effective working relationships with media representatives.
Compile comprehensive information about the brand for the media.
Develop and update Internet or intranet web pages.
Manage communications budgets.
Qualification and competencies:
· Education:
The employee has a good first degree in a relevant subject (e.g. English, business, media or PR) and relevant on-the-job training.
Hold a bachelor degree.
· Working experience:
r More than 4 years relevant working experience in public relations and media communication
r Strong net work of beauty and fashion media contacts
r Established relationships with general business, consumer and entertainment trade/press/analyst/blogger communities
r Proven successes in both traditional and interactive PR channels
r Knowledge of international publications and opportunities in a plus
r Excellent written and oral communication skills
r Solid writing skills ( writing samples required and receipt of resume)
· Language:
r Verbal English CET 6
r Written English CET 6
· Personal characteristics:
r Proactive
r Down to earth
r Easy going
