Commercial Banking
HSBC Commercial Banking serves millions of small, medium-sized and middle-market enterprises, providing commercial customers with a full range of banking services including multi-currency business accounts, payments and cash management, wealth management and insurance, and global trade and receivables finance, as well as a comprehensive range of financing solutions. With dedicated Relationship Managers and Business Specialists providing local support and advice in over 60 countries and territories, HSBC helps customers make the most of opportunities for their businesses.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Associate Relationship Manager-BB.
In this role, you will:
·Grow revenues and/or PBT of the Business Banking customers portfolio by effectively managing, developing, and retaining quality business relationships to earn a greater share of wallet
·Proactively deliver appropriate suite products and services in response to customer needs, both domestically and internationally, focusing on core products.(deposits, loans, cash management, trade, insurance, GM)
·Earn the customer’s full banking relationship for both business and personal needs by cross-selling and referring customers appropriately to specialists (PCM, Trade and Supply Chain (TSC), Insurance, GM) or other customer segments like RBWM and PB
·Deliver a stellar customer experience by meeting and exceeding customer expectations through effective relationship management, ensuring customer banking needs are being met, and fully representing the HSBC brand.
·Uphold credit policy and lending guidelines, maintaining a balanced approach to risk management
·Protect the bank’s assets and reputation by knowing the customer and their business, monitoring for suspicious behaviour, and taking appropriate action as set forth in operating policies when necessary
Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
·Bachelor’s degree in business, related field, or equivalent experience.
·Minimum of three years proven and progressive business development and credit experience or equivalent, including extensive knowledge and proven sales success with the Bank’s products and services.
·Ability to identify, analyse, and communicate customer requirements; effectively deliver creative and flexible customer solutions.
·Participation in appropriate training and/or work equivalency (i.e. credit, products, B2G, HSBCNet selling, etc).
·Strong sales, organisational, analytical, negotiation, communication, teamwork and influencing skills.
·Self-motivated and driven to succeed in organically growing existing and winning new business.
·Ability to manage a variety of assignments simultaneously.
